Oh, little feather

Oh feather, floating upon sea.
Did you land here, as a gift to me?
From sky you came, resting upon the wave;
another sign of my destiny?

The path you led, out to deeper waters…
into a fear of the unknown,
held in the deep, of the dark blue sea.

Little feather, singing the songs of the sea.
Words, flowing on wave…
saying to trust in you,
to find trust in me.

As I rest back my head,
the salt of the sea cradles
my neck and all of me.
As I fall into trust, I float next to you.
Little feather, floating upon the sea.
