Penny dropped

On my knees,
not fallen,
just penny
finally...
dropped.

Out of hand,
now held...
searching
Among cobble dust.
Grainy sand gather,
Penny lost.

This penny,
We not chose,
for He chose;
but thy my penny
now it’s lost.

Whilst running.
Naked, shamed;
From Father’s wrath.
God, don’t punish,
I didn’t ask you,
It’s just a penny,
Now it’s just...
Gathering dust.

But now I see,
The penny;
Well that is me.
